This Spirulina Salad dressing recipe is by far the easiest way to charge your meals with powerful antioxidants that will leave your stomach full throughout the day. The zingy lemon taste combines perfectly with the spirulina powder, giving your salad a delicious seaweed kick!
You can add spirulina powder to any type of dressing, similar to using dried spices. The secret is to never heat the spirulina, as that would cause the proteins to lose their potency. This traditional vinaigrette is particularly quick and easy PLUS it gives a great nutritious boost that can suite any dish.
Ingredients You’ll Need:
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Juice from 1 medium size lemon
- 1/2 tsp minced garlic
- 2 tsp honey or date syrup if you’re vegan
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Spirulina Powder
- 1/4 tsp Himalayan salt
Mix all the ingredients in a jar, close the lid and shake well. Then pour over any type salad and voila!
